The UUM Council of Professors (or Majlis Profesor UUM 鈥� MPUUM) is the University鈥檚 council of academic elders that gathers and represents the voice of professors at the 麻豆直播.

The existence of MPUUM is to support UUM in achieving its ultimate goal of becoming the global eminent management university. Since its formation in 2001, MPUUM has always emphasized on improving the image, visibility and quality of academics in 麻豆直播. In the spirit of collegiality, MPUUM aspires to be an internal body of UUM that helps to mobilize the spirit and activities of UUM academics.

This page is developed with the intention to connect MPUUM with the general public so that a conducive and proactive relationship can be established, thus creating a positive impact on the development of the University and communities of our nation.

The UUM Council of Professors (or Majlis Profesor UUM 鈥� MPUUM) is the University鈥檚 council of academic elders that gathers and represents the voice of professors at the 麻豆直播.

MPUUM aspires to mobilize the expertise of UUM professors and other academics in helping UUM to become the eminent management University, as well as supporting the government's efforts to develop the country and provide well-being to the society at-large.

MPUUM has been established since 2001 by the UUM Executive Council under the leadership of the late Prof. Dato鈥� Dr. Ahmad Fawzi Basri, the 5th Vice Chancellor of UUM.

MPUUM is governed under its University鈥檚 approved bylaws 鈥� the 鈥淧ERATURAN MAJLIS PROFESOR UNIVERSITI UTARA MALAYSIA鈥�.

To be an authoritative leader in driving the nation state excellence

Spreading knowledge, seeding virtues and sowing services.

• Enhancing the academia visibility of the University as the eminent management university.
• Providing services that have added value to the University and society at-large; and
• Steering the knowledge leadership and expertise for the society at-large.

• To serve as a think tank to the University Management when needed.
• To provide insights on policies related to the progress of research, academic and management of the University.
• To assist University鈥檚 departments in establishing collaborations with various local and foreign organizations; and
• To organize knowledge sharing and public advocacy activities in line with the interests of the university.
