Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PKT Logistics Group Sdn. Bhd., Datuk Michael Tio was awarded the Best CEO Award in conjunction with AIxCHANGE Appreciation Ceremony: CEO @ Faculty Programme Year 2019 in Kuala Lumpur recently.

He is the Adjunct Professor at the School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML), Â鶹ֱ²¥ (UUM) and is one of the CEOs appointed by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (CEO) for the CEO@Faculty Programme for UUM since 2015.

In addition, Datuk Michael Tio was the recipient of the Honorary Doctorate of Philosophy (Logistics Management) in conjunction with the UUM 31st. Convocation Ceremony last year.

Academia-Industry Talent Exchange Programme (AIxCHANGE): CEO @ Faculty Programme is a KPM initiative set up to promote the sharing of knowledge and expertise between academia and industry.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani expressed his elation on the award presented to Datuk Michael Tio.

The award was indeed a testament to prove the desire to bring the university closer to the industry in line with KPM's intention to drive the direction of higher education towards achieving excellence and success in the nation's higher education system.
