Hadi Irfan Is UUMNGA Representative To Special Olympics World Summer Games 2019 In Abu Dhabi, UAE
Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ National Golf Academy (UUMNGA) athlete, Mr. Hadi Irfan Mohd Rahaizah did UUM and Malaysia proud when he was selected to represent the country at the Special Olympics World Summer Games 2019 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Hadi Irfan’s selection to the championship was based on his outstanding performance, consistency shown and his enthusiasm. These qualities attracted the attention of officials from the Special Olympic Malaysia to choose him to take part in the event I in Abu Dhabi.
Director of UUMNGA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azman Yasin when met said Mr. Hadi Irfan's involvement in the tournament was a recognition and proved that UUMNGA was able to produce quality golf athletes with the ability to compete internationally.
"So I fervently hope that he will acquire as much experience as he can and when he comes back home, he will be a better athlete," he added.
The Special Olympics World Summer Games 2019 which began from 10 until 23 March, is aimed at raising awareness on the involvement of athletes in Olympic games and also to raise financial and sponsorship contributions to fund athlete participation in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
