The Struggle Does Not End With A Degree
The struggle does not end with just a degree as out there thousands more tests and challenges await the graduates as they make their journey through life.
UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato' Dr Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani said that 麻豆直播 (UUM) graduates need to be perfect human, with beautiful soul as well as a contributor to the society, while being able to hold high positions in various institutions.
According to him, the success of clasping a degree in their hand was not a feat that everyone can achieve and only those who work tirelessly seeking knowledge at lecture halls, library, burn the midnight candle, sacrifice fun and manage stress can go through a knowledge-filled journey filled with adversities.
"Alhamdulillah, your struggle at UUM has been fulfilled witnessed by your parents, relatives, lecturers and friends who have congregated to celebrate together. Today is a historic day in your life as a graduate.
鈥淲ell done and congratulations to the graduates who have successfully completed their studies. Alhamdulillah, your hard work, sweat and tears to gain knowledge at this university has been rewarded with a degree that all of you dreamt of for so long, 鈥漢e said at the sixth session of the 32nd UUM Convocation Ceremony at Mu'adzam Shah Hall.
He added that the university not only celebrated the success of graduates but also honoured the parents and educators who had worked together to support graduates' quest for knowledge.
鈥淎fter this, you will be free to choose a career that you will pursue and continue to serve.
鈥淚 pray that all graduates will succeed in their chosen field, I also hope that all of you remember your beloved alma mater that is UUM and continue to contribute towards the development of the campus where you once sought knowledge,鈥 he said.
