UUM CARES: FRONTLINE PERSONNEL ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

WhatsApp Image 2020 04 24 at 12.38.20 PMUUM ONLINE: Alor Setar - Come rain or shine, frontline personnel continue to play a key role in keeping the people in the state safe while the government battles hard to break the Covid-19 chain.

In recognition of those who have worked 24 hours since the Movement Control Order (MCO), Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ (UUM) decided to do their bid and render Covid-19 related assistance namely face masks, hand sanitizer and food to the police and military personnel involved.

The presentation of aid packs was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani, who handed over the aids to the frontline personnel stationed at a roadblock set up near the Alor Setar (North) Toll Plaza, recently.

In addition, the university management team that was accompanied by Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hendrik Lamsali and the Registrar, Mr Baharudin Yaacob also handed over the aids to personnel stationed at the roadblock set up near Alor Setar (South) Toll Plaza, Hutan Kampung Toll Plaza and Anak Bukit Palace.

Also present were Director of the Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (ICC), Prof. Dr. Razamin Ramli and Director of UUM Corporate Comm., Mdm. Rasidah Rodzi.
