UUM Receives Courtesy Visit From Queenstown Resort College New Zealand
Head of Research, Queenstown Resort College New Zealand, Dr. Masoud Karami paid a courtesy call on UUM.
During a brief meeting, the Director of Langkawi International Research Centre for Tourism and Hospitality (LITH), Prof. Dr. Azilah Kasim and the Dean of the School of Tourism, Hospitality and Environmental Management (STHEM) spent time with the guest sharing information about UUM at a glance.
According to Prof. Dr. Azilah, this visit was aimed at establishing a two-way relationship between UUM and QRC and the visit was in continuation of the Letter Of Intent (LOI) which was signed on 26 February 2019.
"Dr. Masoud has expressed his interest in getting to know UUM closer. He also looks forward to exchanging ideas and exploring the opportunities to establish cooperation that can be pioneered in various aspects, especially in the field of tourism and hospitality, " she said when met at the Visitors’ Lounge.
