UUM Receives Courtesy Visit From The President Of Kansai University Of International Studies
President of Kansai University of International Studies (KUIS), Japan, Prof Atsushi Hamana paid a courtesy call on UUM Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani at the Visitors’ Lounge, UUM.
He was accompanied by the Director of Global Education Centre Prof Yasuo Kawawaki. The aim of the visit was to establish closer ties and explore the opportunities available in various aspects between the two parties.
During the meeting, the Vice-Chancellor spent time sharing information and ideas with the delegates as well as expressing his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to them for making the time to visit UUM.
At the function, the Vice-Chancellor presented the President of KUIS with a Letter of Intent to collaborate in terms of student mobility which will be managed by the Centre for International Affairs & Cooperation (CIAC) and the Asian Cooperative Programme managed by the Disaster Management Institute (DMI), School of Technology Management & Logistics (STML).
At the function, discussions were also held with college representatives.
