The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato鈥 Dr Mohd Foad Sakdan, stated that this collection represents a 26.12 percent increase for this year.
According to him, the upward trend in collections is attributed to the efforts carried out by the Amil (zakat collectors) appointed by the Kedah State Zakat Board (LZNK) through the Kubang Pasu District Zakat Centre.

According to him, indirectly, it also serves as a means of purifying wealth, further expanding the blessings derived from an individual鈥檚 daily earnings.
