UUM ONLINE: In line with the tagline ‘We Are Global’, the denizens of Â鶹ֱ²¥ (UUM) Kuala Lumpur Campus (UUMKL) and Othman Yeop Abdudllah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) have been urged to realize the aspiration of the University to transform UUMKL and OYAGSB to become the Crown Jewels of UUM.

According to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani, creating a renowned brand and internationalising both UUMKL and OYAGSB were the ways to elevate the UUM brand.  In doing so, the aspiration of transforming the said entities to become the Crown Jewels of UUM can be made possible within two years.

He further reiterated that the aspiration was in tandem with the authorisation given by the Malaysian government to allow international students to return to campus from as early as January while adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOP).

He said this after the he presented the Key Office Bearers of UUMKL and OYGSB with their respective Letters of Appointment.  Among the recipients were the Academic Dean of UUMKL, Assoc. Prof Dr Sabariah Yaakub; Deputy Dean (Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer), OYAGSB, Prof Ts. Dr Norazah Mohd Suki; Director of DBA Programme, Assoc. Prof Dr Zaemah Zainuddin; Director of MBA Programme, Assoc. Prof Dr Bahtiar Mohamad; Director of PhD Programme and Doctor of Management Programme, OYAGSB, Dr Sahar E-Vahdati; Director of Services and Career Advisor, OYAGSB, Dr Teh Raihana Nazirah Roslan; Director of MBM Programme, OYAGSB, Prof Dr Nurwati Ashikkin Ahmad Zaluki; Director of Accreditation, Rankings and Reputation Management, OYAGSB, Prof Dr Wan Nordin Wan Hussin; Director of Corporate and Alumni Relations, OYAGSB, Dr. Arfan Shahzad and Director of Student Experience and Customer Care, OYAGSB, Dr. Nazahah Abd Rahim.
