UUM ONLINE: The VC CUP SAHOCA vs UUM held at the UUM Golf & Recreation Club recently was not just about winning, but fostering closer co-operation between all players.

A total of 66 participants from the UUM team and the Sultan Abdul Hamid Old Collegians' Association (SAHOCA) took part in the friendly golf tournament.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dato' Dr Ahmad Bashawir Abdul Ghani said he was elated that SAHOCA chose UUM as the location of the golf tournament.

鈥淪uch an event would indeed strengthen the bond between UUM and SAHOCA and this cooperation can be mutually beneficial.

鈥淚 hope SAHOCA will continue to make UUM as its venue of choice to hold competitions like this in the future as UUM provides complete and sophisticated facilities,鈥� he said.

The tournament, which started at 8 am, saw 40 players from SAHOCA playing against 26 players from UUM. Players from both teams showcased brilliant performance on the green.
